Week 7: Potential Clients

For week 7, we were assigned with reaching out to potential clients for our final project which consists of creating an infographic to promote business and awareness of an existing business/organization. For my three potential clients, I decided to use places where I have worked in the past, along with the place I currently work, as well as a place I would find interesting to work at. These organizations are Best Buy, Festival Foods, as well as Apple. All three of these businesses took a hit in operations over the course of the pandemic but all managed to make it through and support their communities. with a little help from an infographic, business could turn around and excel these companies to another level.

First Potential Client: Best Buy.

I have worked for Best Buy since 2016 as a Warehouse truck lead and just recently as a sales associate. Best Buy washout hard during the pandemic like many other companies and was forced to close down in store shopping for a few months. Best Buy was one of few business to actually excel during the pandemic by expanding its online shopping resources and providing customers with curbside-pickup. The company beat revenue targets and remained hopeful during the tough times. in recent months, Best Buy has had to make a lot of cuts to its retail and corporate staff as a way to combat the pandemic effects. By creating an Infographic for the company, it would bring awareness to people to know that the stores are now fully open, customers are allowed to shop and get help, and to help the community see all the positive things the copay is doing during these times.

Second Potential Client: Festival Foods

Festival Foods is a grocery store has that has over 33 locations nation wide. I worked there for about a year from 2016-2017 as my first job. The grocery store is a huge staple for the communities in which they operate in by offering fresh foods at low prices. Festival foods like many other business was also hit by surprise during the pandemic. A lot of foot traffic decreased over growing concerns of Covid-19 but at the same time, the stores were forced to stay open and employees were forced to put their lives at risk because of it. With all the adaptations the company had to make during the times, I think an infographic could bring the company more business now that people are starting to feel safer out in public spaces.

Third Potential Client: Apple

Apple is a company that I found too actually be very interested in working for and thought they did a great job during the first stages of the pandemic. Apple closed just about all of its locations and to this day a lot of them are still closed. The company continued to develop new products, have virtual presentations, offer service on their devices, and even offer discounts for students, teachers, and other people like front line workers. I think they have a lot more to show in the coming months and with everything being done online these days, Apple provides a wide line of devices to help everyone get done what needs to get done.
