Week 9 - How to Infographic

Image
For week 9, we were assigned with creating another infographic about "how to" do something. For this infographic I decided to do the simple task of washing your hands and I used Canva to create my graphic. In a time like now, washing your hands is extremely important and also extremely simple. As seen in the infographic below, step one is simply putting soap on your hands. Step two involves scrubbing your hands for approximately 20 seconds to allow the soap to do its job and eliminate the germs and dirt. Step three involves rinsing your hands off with water and lastly, drying them off for step 4.  All in all, when it comes down to it, making these infographics is actually really easy! This infographic is important for the world we live in today and keeps things simple for all readers.

I have been working at Best Buy since early 2017 and throughout my time at there I have filled a number of different roles. Currently I am a sales associate and with that we offer a wide range of services both in store as well as in the home through our Total Tech package. The infographic will go over in great detail the different levels of services offered within the package, their prices, and the benefits of being a Total Tech member when it comes to the customers time. I think the infographic will definitely help highlight some of the amazing services the package offers and show customers what can be down within their homes now that restrictions are being lifted from Covid-19.  The second idea I had for the final infographic is showing the different options and discounts there are when it comes...

Week 7: Potential Clients

Image
For week 7, we were assigned with reaching out to potential clients for our final project which consists of creating an infographic to promote business and awareness of an existing business/organization. For my three potential clients, I decided to use places where I have worked in the past, along with the place I currently work, as well as a place I would find interesting to work at. These organizations are Best Buy, Festival Foods, as well as Apple. All three of these businesses took a hit in operations over the course of the pandemic but all managed to make it through and support their communities. with a little help from an infographic, business could turn around and excel these companies to another level.  First Potential Client: Best Buy.   I have worked for Best Buy since 2016 as a Warehouse truck lead and just recently as a sales associate. Best Buy washout hard during the pandemic like many other companies and was forced to close down in store shopping for a few...
